Community Landscape
The Community Landscape identifies the gaps and strengths of Denver’s homelessness response system, as conveyed by the experts – the people who have been homeless and who have used the system.
Read our Community Landscape issue brief that presents insights from the nearly 80 unhoused neighbors that we spoke with, digging into the barriers these folks encountered as well as the strengths in the system.
Pathways
The Landscape includes data and insights from the in-depth interviews we have conducted with our unhoused neighbors. We mapped their journeys into homelessness and their engagement with the system of housing & support services. The following are characteristics of 36 interviewees, as well as common pathways through the system, based on multiple stories we have heard.
Older Adults Experiencing Homelessness
In an addendum to the original Community Landscape, we spoke to 20 neighbors over the age of 60 experiencing homelessness. Read about this important group and the shared and unique challenges they face in the system.
