Micro-Solutions for Systemic Change
At Elevated Denver, we believe that meaningful, lasting change begins with human-centered solutions that address root causes, not just symptoms. Our approach is rooted in developing micro-solutions—focused, actionable initiatives that drive systemic change by centering the needs and voices of those most affected.
Our first micro-solution, the Peer-Led Resource Connection Hub, is a direct response to the challenges people face when they are newly unhoused or on the verge of losing housing. Too often, individuals and families are overwhelmed, unsure of where to turn, and unable to access the right resources early enough. The Hub offers a welcoming, community-based space where people can find comprehensive support, guidance, and human connection from Peers–those who have navigated the system themselves—when they need it most.
The Hub was born from our first Collaboratory, a unique process where people from all walks of life—lived experts, business leaders, service providers, and policymakers—came together to co-create solutions.
Through months of research, prototyping, and testing with lived experts—individuals with firsthand experience of homelessness—we were able to refine the concept, ensuring that it directly addresses real needs. Our Designers and Champions, a diverse group of stakeholders, provided essential insights and supported the ongoing development of the model. Read more about the process and Hub in this Colorado Sun article.
